A structured course offering basic understanding of quantum concepts. Includes lectures, discussions, and a self-verification online test at the end. While it introduces some mathematics and physics, only high-school level algebra and physics are required.

Elements of Quantum Cryptography
Quantum communication secures data through Quantum Key Distribution (QKD). This module covers:
- Quantum principles – photons, polarisation filters, states of polarisations, qubit, quantum randomness and superpositions, quantum threats - algorithmic complexity and RSA breaking
- Quantum key distribution – detailed explanation of BB84 protocol with ideal components, simple security principle and analysis, key generation and sifting
- QKD implementations – real-world modification, optical fiber attenuation, quantum noise tolerance (QBER), key extraction, single photon sources and detectors, demonstration
